I really can’t believe it’s almost Valentine’s Day! I’ve been hard at work finishing up the next collection, which I’m illustrating digitally, so it’s a lot of computer time. I was feeling a little… disconnected, I guess, from the artwork, so I took a break yesterday to do some “fun” painting. I ended up with a series of hearts in a messy, painty style – nod to Jim Dine. I thought I’d put them up here as downloadable pdfs, in case anyone is short on a Valentine for your people – or just want some thoughts on love in general. To make the cards, just click on the images below, download the pdf, print out (preferably on cardstock or slightly heavier paper), cut on the gray line and fold in half.
