It may not feel seasonally appropriate, but fabric shops are already planning ahead for Christmas 2027! My newest collection of licensed fabric (and my very first holiday range) just became available for wholesale through Windham Fabrics, so I thought I’d do a little introduction here. Introducing Letters to Santa!
This collection was so fun to do, and it made me wonder why I’d never done a true holiday collection before. As always, it’s organic and Oeko-Tex certified, and includes 16 prints. It will ship in July of 2027.
The inspiration for the collection came partly from memories of taking my daughter to write her Christmas wish letter at our local department store. She would get so excited, and would work diligently to express herself, despite a limited grasp of spelling. I found one photo of her hard at work – less picturesque than I remembered, but it captures the passion.
I also really had fun painting the little dog and cat icons for the Holiday Hound and Christmas Cats prints. We have a long tradition of including our pets in our holiday celebrations (they each have their own stocking, and get special handmade goodies every year… most years), so it was fun to put some of that spirit into the artwork.

Windham also put together some really cute quilts to showcase the collection, and I’m actually feeling pretty inspired by them. I love this bow one, and might need to make myself a new tree skirt! You can see all the quilts here.
