What a weekend this has been! Okay, I know it’s Tuesday so I guess it’s a loooong weekend. I was in Pittsburgh for the International Quilt Market on Friday and Saturday, and I was totally blown away by all the beautiful quilts and fabric and the creativity there. Not to mention all the cool gadgets. Next time I have an extra 10 grand lying around I’m going to get me one of those free-arm quilting machines. I took a TON of photos, so I hope you like quilts! Now I’m in New York, and while I didn’t take many photos at the Stationery Show, I have been finding a ton of inspiration here, as well as a lot of small designers to keep an eye out for when I’m buying cards – beautiful stuff. More on that later in the week.

I haven’t had a chance to upload nearly all of my photos yet, but here’s a start…

Red Poppies by Emily Parson

Red Owls by Karin Peirce

Year at a Glance by Amanda Herring of The Quilted Fish (notice the monaluna fabric! 🙂

The two above: most colorful booth award goes to Blue Underground. Gorgeous colors!

I remember Blue Underground’s booth when I was at market last year. Very cool. Love the Year at a Glance quilt, and also all the aprons with your fabric!

That owl quilt has such an intricate quilting! I used to live in Houston and went to the Quilt Show there, but wasn’t really into them like I am now. What a waste! I can’t wait to see more of your pics.
